Injection molding process

1, mold closing, this step is to open and turn the mold locked up, which is a complete process, including the following stages: rapid mold closing, medium speed mold closing, low pressure protection, high pressure mold locking. Divided into these several stages is mainly to make the whole mold closing process smooth and smooth, to avoid damage to the mold high-speed collision, both to protect the mold and to lock the mold.



2, injection, this step is mainly the high temperature melting plastic raw materials into the mold, the extrusion process is mainly driven by the screw to complete, and can be based on the different parameters of Plastic products to choose different pushing speed, so that the high temperature melt gradually filled the mold.



3, pressure preservation, during the injection process, due to thermal expansion and contraction, the melting material will gradually shrink during the cooling process, so it is necessary to fill the melting material, this process is called pressure preservation.



4, material storage, in the process of injection molding, plastic raw materials will continue to be consumed, and the so-called storage is a process of supplementing the melt material and timely measurement, the screw will not take the initiative to retreat, but with the continuous injection molding, the material in front of the screw will continue to accumulate, thus pushing the screw to move back, to a certain metering point will stop.



5, ejection, this process is after the end of the storage, the screw will retreat a distance, in order to reduce the pressure on the front end of the screw, so as to prevent the overflow caused by excessive pressure.



6, cooling, this stage is to let the high-temperature melt material in the mold to cool and cure, in this process, there will be cooling water on the mold to exchange heat. Generally speaking, cooling starts from the end of the pressure holding, and this process has a large proportion in the entire injection molding process.



7, opening mold, and the opposite of closing mold, this step is to open the mold, divided into high pressure opening mold, fast opening mold, medium speed opening mold, slow after the opening of these stages.



8, ejection, after opening the mold, the cooled plastic products will still remain on the mold, and it is difficult to manually remove, so this process will be completed by the ejection device on the mold. The top plate of the injection molding machine is pressed against the mold push plate, which then moves forward with the thimble to lift the plastic product out.
